Painted doors

These are the internal doors painted, Andrew has made a great selection with these doors.

Toilet

This is the toilet, it has a soft close seat, which is very groovy. It's like it talks to you :-). You can let go of the lid and it will ever so slowly close, very politely. I know, small things amuse small minds :-).

Bathrooms

The main shower, before the shower screen has gone in.

This is the vanity in the main bathroom.

This vanity is just outside the toilet.

This vanity is in the ensuite.

Downlights

We have 4 downlughts in the entire house, three of which are located above the stove. I think they look great with the grey paint.

Wardrobes

These are our wardrobes, the pitcure above is in the study.

Carpet

We have selected the carpet for the bedrooms, much to our horror we have been convinced carpet is the way to go. We liked some of the other flooring options, black timber, expensive eco flooring bbut in the end it has come down to price.

Our poor carpet salesperson had to put up with me walking in the door and saying "I'm here to buy carpet, but we hate carpet" to his credit he was very good but it was very clear we were not happy to be needing his services :-).

In the end I think it'll look OK.

Paint

Our painters have been in, and oh my gosh they have done a great job, particularly with our feature walls, they have cut them in just beautifully. We are very happy. Our only concern is that the white paint will be ruined by our two little friends, with their sticky fingers, the girls are on notice, I have even threatened that I'll chop off their fingers if they touch the walls, luckily they know I'm joking.

Weeds

The brown patches are our dreaded weeds, I spent hours spraying them with Grazon, which is wh they're grey. I hate them so much, I spent hours after all the rain, in the mud, pulling the blast things out. At least they were a little easier to get out after rain.

They are like a small tea trea, horrible things with a very thick root, which makes it's way deep into the ground.

Front Door

This is our front door from the inside.

And our front door from the outside, do you like the colour?

Water tank

This is our 5,000 litre water tank, which doesn't take much to fill (about 10 - 15 mls of rain) we are realising that we could do we more tanks, it's shame to see the water being diverted out onto the street :-(.

Fences

The fence we built.

The fence Andrew, I and our neighbour Phil build, in 40degree heat. We LOVE that fence, but it doesn't have the best memories :-)

We are so glad we got Ralph to build our main boundary fences.

Ralph's wonderful fence
